Project Overview

This project was part of a home renovation for an existing client in Mirador, Arabian Ranches. The goal was to modernise and improve the home’s technology while the renovation was underway, ensuring the systems were reliable, discreet, and future-proof.

The client wanted strong Wi-Fi coverage, better control over internet usage for the family, high-quality multi-room audio, outdoor connectivity, and upgraded lighting control.

Network & Whole-Home Wi-Fi

We carried out a full Wi-Fi rebuild, replacing the existing setup with a properly designed network.

The new system included:

Enterprise-grade Wi-Fi access points throughout the home
Seamless roaming across all living areas
Dedicated Wi-Fi coverage for the garden

A Firewalla Gold with parental controls was also installed, allowing the client to manage internet access, device usage, and security across the household.

For whole-home audio, we installed a premium multi-room system using:

Lighting Control

As part of the renovation, the lighting was upgraded to a Lutron RA2 Select wireless system.

The lighting scope included:

Lutron Pico wireless keypads
Inline RA2 dimmers installed within the lighting circuits
Scene control and dimming throughout the home

This provided intuitive lighting control without the need for extensive rewiring.
