Diagnostics Tools
Pinpoint the cause of slow speeds, dropouts, and buffering with these simple, web-based tests.
Before You Start
A few simple tests help us determine if the issue is with your ISP, your router, your Wi-Fi coverage, or a specific device.
- Test Wired vs Wi-Fi: If possible, plug a laptop directly into the router. If wired is perfect but Wi-Fi is poor, the issue is likely coverage or interference.
- Test at Different Times: Run tests in the morning and evening. Peak-time slowdowns often point to ISP congestion.
- Take Screenshots: Preserving the exact results, server, and latency helps us diagnose much faster.
Recommended Web Tools
Simple, safe, and effective tools for non-technical users.
Fast.com
Checks streaming-style download performance and 'bufferbloat' (latency under load). Essential for video buffering issues.
Speedtest.net
The industry standard for raw throughput. Always choose a nearby server (Dubai/UAE) for consistent benchmarks.
Cloudflare Speed Test
Provides detailed data on jitter and packet loss—the primary causes of choppy audio and dropped video calls.
Simple Ping Test
Check your connection stability over time.
ping 1.1.1.1 -n 20Look for Packet Loss (should be 0%) and spikes in time (ms).
ping -c 20 1.1.1.1Consistent times under 20ms are ideal for local UAE servers.

UniFi & Firewalla Users
Extra diagnostics for managed systems.
If you use UniFi or Firewalla, you can provide even more detail:
- UniFi: Check the WAN status in UniFi Network and generate a 'Support File' from System Settings.
- Firewalla: Check the app home screen for packet loss alerts or ISP outages.
