Analogue vs Digital (IP) Camera Systems
We do not deploy or support new analogue camera systems
Legacy analogue CCTV systems using coaxial cabling are no longer a viable choice for new installations. We focus on modern IP camera systems that deliver the resolution, intelligence, and integration that today's properties require.
Legacy Analogue Systems
Understanding the limitations of existing coax-based CCTV.
Many properties still have legacy analogue CCTV systems installed using coaxial cabling. These systems no longer meet modern expectations for security, reliability, or integration.
Our Stance
We do not deploy or support new analogue camera systems.
Migration Options
How to move from legacy coax to modern IP without tearing walls apart.
IP-over-Coax Adapters
Where existing coax infrastructure cannot be replaced, IP-over-coax adapters may be used as a migration path to modern IP camera systems.
Important Notes
- IP-over-coax is a migration strategy — not a long-term substitute
- Cable quality and distance matter — not all coax is suitable
- Full Ethernet remains the preferred end state
