Project Overview
This project involved a private family with multiple apartments in the Burj Khalifa tower. Over time, we have designed and installed four separate Wi-Fi systems for them across different apartments.
The requirement was simple but demanding: the best possible Wi-Fi performance, consistent across apartments, with professional-grade reliability and long-term support.
Building Coordination & Infrastructure
To achieve the required performance, we worked directly with building management to gain access to the building’s network rooms.
This allowed us to:
- Install dedicated network switches within the building infrastructure
- Deliver properly wired backhaul to each apartment
- Avoid the limitations of consumer mesh or ISP-provided Wi-Fi
This step was critical in achieving stable, high-performance results.
Apartment Wi-Fi Design
Each apartment was designed individually based on layout and size, while maintaining a consistent technical standard.
The installations included:
- UniFi Enterprise access points installed in each room
- Proper wired backhaul for every access point
- Coverage optimised for both 2- and 3-bedroom apartments
This ensures consistent speed, low latency, and seamless roaming throughout each home.
Network Core & Remote Management
Each apartment is powered by a UniFi Dream Machine Pro, installed within the network cabinet.
This provides:
- Centralised routing and network management
- Advanced performance and security features
- Remote monitoring and management
All systems are supported and maintained remotely, allowing issues to be resolved quickly without unnecessary site visits.
