Common Questions

Who is a home cinema system best for?

Anyone who wants a predictable, immersive viewing experience at home — especially if you care about dialogue clarity, controlled bass, and simple control. It’s also ideal when you have a dedicated room or a media space you want to “feel like cinema”.

Do I need a dedicated room, or can you build a cinema in a living room?

Both are possible. Dedicated rooms allow better light control and speaker placement. Living rooms can still get a huge upgrade with the right TV/projector choice, correct audio layout, and tidy cabling — as long as we design around the room’s constraints.

TV vs projector — how do you choose?

Projectors shine in darker rooms and for very large screen sizes. Large TVs are often better in brighter, multi-use spaces because they’re punchier and simpler to maintain. We recommend based on room brightness, viewing distance, and usage.

What’s typically included in a home cinema installation?

Design, equipment specification, cabling plan, installation, configuration, and calibration. Depending on scope, this can include projector + screen or TV, surround speakers, a rack/console setup, and control that’s easy to use.

Can you reuse existing speakers, AV receivers, or TVs?

Often, yes. We’ll assess what you have and reuse components that are reliable and appropriate for the goal. Many improvements come from better placement, cabling, and calibration rather than a full replacement.

Is Dolby Atmos always worth it?

Not always. Atmos is most valuable in a room where speaker placement is done properly and you want immersion. In some rooms, a well-designed 5.1 system delivers better value and a cleaner result.

Do you handle acoustic treatment?

Yes, where it makes sense. Even a small amount of practical acoustic work can dramatically improve clarity and bass control. We balance performance with aesthetics and room usage.

How long does installation take?

Simple media room upgrades can be 1–2 days. Dedicated rooms with projection, cabling work, and calibration typically take longer and are planned around access and any construction/finish requirements.
